There are a lot of myth about kindhearted Muhammad ,his love, tolerance and his patience towards non believers.Yet when we dig out Sahih ahadith ,Quran and some historians works we see different side of this “perfect man”.
Muhammad was getting very angry when they were asking him questions ,he had no tolerance , patience and could not stand any doubt and questions .He used to get very angry to the point that he started cursing questioners and using crude language. Questioning was prohibited by his Allah and believers did not have any option and right of any opinion of themselves,[Quran 33:36/ 5:101-102 /The Meaning of the Qur’an, Maududi, vol. III, pgs. 76-77 ] they MUST follow what Muhammad said or else.

Here are some Sahih ahadith about him getting furious and angry:

=() al-Bukhari Book of Tax (Zakat) #555/ al-Bukhari 1477/ Sahih al-Bukhari Vol. 2, Book 24, Hadith 555/Sahih al-Bukhari Vol. 2, Book of Tax (Zakat), Hadith 555
Narrated Ash-sha’bi:
The clerk of Al-Mughira bin Shu’ba narrated, “Muawiya wrote to Al-Mughira bin Shu’ba: Write to me something which you have heard from the Prophet (Peace be upon him) .” So Al-Mughira wrote: I heard the Prophet saying, “Allah has hated for you three things: 1. Vain talks, (useless talk) that you talk too much or about others. 2. Wasting of wealth (by extravagance)
3. And asking too many questions (in disputed religious matters) or asking others for something (except in great need).
[the same topic with some minor differences can be found in this hadith: al-Bukhari Book of Loans, Bankruptcy #591/al-Bukhari 2408/Sahih al-Bukhari Vol. 3, Book 41, Hadith 591/Sahih al-Bukhari Vol. 3, Book of Loans, Bankruptcy, Hadith 591]

=() al-Bukhari Book of Knowledge #91/Sahih al-Bukhari Vol. 1, Book 3, Hadith 91/Sahih al-Bukhari Vol. 1, Book of Knowledge, Hadith 91
Narrated Zaid bin Khalid Al-Juhani:
A man asked the Prophet about the picking up of a “Luqata” (fallen lost thing). The Prophet replied, “Recognize and remember its tying material and its container, and make public announcement (about it) for one year, then utilize it but give it to its owner if he comes.” Then the person asked about the lost camel. On that, the Prophet got angry and his cheeks or his Face became red and he said, “You have no concern with it as it has its water container, and its feet and it will reach water, and eat (the leaves) of trees till its owner finds it.” The man then asked about the lost sheep. The Prophet replied, “It is either for you, for your brother (another person) or for the wolf.”

=() al-Bukhari Book of Knowledge #92/Sahih al-Bukhari Vol. 1, Book 3, Hadith 92/Sahih al-Bukhari Vol. 1, Book of Knowledge, Hadith 92
Narrated Abu Musa:
The Prophet was asked about things which he did not like, but when the questioners insisted, the Prophet got angry. He then said to the people, “Ask me anything you like.” A man asked, “Who is my father?” The Prophet replied, “Your father is Hudhafa.” Then another man got up and said, “Who is my father, O Allah’s Apostle ?” He replied, “Your father is Salim, Maula (the freed slave) of Shaiba.” So when ‘Umar saw that (the anger) on the face of the Prophet he said, “O Allah’s Apostle! We repent to Allah (Our offending you).”

=() al-Bukhari Book of Begining of Creation #496/al-Bukhari 3276/Sahih al-Bukhari Vol. 4, Book 54, Hadith 496/Sahih al-Bukhari Vol. 4, Book of Begining of Creation, Hadith 496
Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah’s Apostle said, “Satan comes to one of you and says, ‘Who created so−and−so? ’till he says, ‘Who has created your Lord?’ So, when he inspires such a question, one should seek refuge with Allah and give up such thoughts.”

Here are some examples when Muhammad became angry and how he talked and handled non believers:

=() Quran 62: 5 “مَثَلُ الَّذِينَ حُمِّلُوا التَّوْرَاةَ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَحْمِلُوهَا كَمَثَلِ الْحِمَارِ يَحْمِلُ أَسْفَارًا ۚ بِئْسَ مَثَلُ الْقَوْمِ الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ ۚ وَاللَّهُ لَا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الظَّالِمِينَ “Muhammad Sarwar :Those who were to carry the responsibility of the Torah but ignored, are like donkeys laden with books. How terrible is the example of the people who reject the revelations of God. God does not guide the unjust.

you can find many similar statements about non believers in his Noble book here are some more:
cursed (4:47/2:88/5:60),evil doers (5:59 ), liars(16:39) , greediest (2:96) , diseased(2:10),ape and pigs(5:60/2:65,66), donkey (62:5) ,losers (5:53) , worst beasts(8:55),lowest (most humiliated)(58:20), deaf,dumb,blind (2:171)worst of the creatures(98:6), , cattle or sheep (2:171/7:179) lazy dog(7:176),filthy and dirty(like urine,feces,pigs,etc…9:28), and many many more .

Sometimes Muhammad and his thugs took the conversation to higher level by using crude language:

=() “… Then ‘Urwah said: ‘Muhammad, tell me: if you extirpate your tribesmen, have you ever heard of any of the Arabs who destroyed his own race before you? And if the contrary comes to pass, by God I see both prominent people and rabble who are likely to flee and leave you.’ Abu Bakr said, ‘go suck clitoris of al – Lat !’– al-Lat was the idol of Thaqif, which they used to worship – ‘Would we flee and leave him…’” [The History of al-Tabari – The Victory of Islam, translated by Michael Fishbein (State University of New York Press (SUNY), Albany 1997), Volume VIII (8), p. 76]

=() Here is another example of Muhammad’s respond to one of the questiones in “Mukhtasar Zad al-Ma’ad” ( مختصر زاد المعاد في هدي خير العباد ) by Imam Ibn Qayyim Al-Jawziyyah ( الجوزية الإمام ابن القيم ) :
When a person made the claims of tribal superiority befor Islam, Muhammad responded “Bite your father’s penis!”And for every situation there is a (fitting) saying. [ Provisions for the Hereafter (Mukhtasar Zad Al-Ma’ad), by Imam Ibn Qayyim Al-Jawziyyah, summarized by Imam Muhammad Ibn Abdul Wahhab At-Tamimi ( Darussalam Publishers & Distributors, First Edition: September 2003) , Chapter. Regarding the Story of Al-Hudaibiyyah, p. 383]
similar comment has been mentioned in Mishkat al-Masabih (مشكاة المصابيح) and you can find it here: Mishkat Al Masabih, English Translation With Explanatory Notes By Dr. James Robson (Sh. Muhammad Ashraf Publishers, Booksellers & Exporters, Lahore, Pakistan, Reprinted 1994) , Volume II, Book XXIV – General Behaviour, Chapter XIII. Boasting and Party-Spirit, p. 1021

Mohsin Khan: Whoever thinks that Allah will not help him (Muhammad SAW) in this world and in the Hereafter, let him stretch out a rope to the ceiling and let him strangle himself. Then let him see whether his plan will remove that whereat he rages!
In simple word ,If you do not believe that Allah will help Muhammad ( as he mentioned many times in Quran that he will ) too bad, you do not like it go find a rope and hang yourself !!!!

Here comes his ultimate effort to win the argument and establish peace on Earth>>>>:
Sahih International: The Jews say, “Ezra is the son of Allah “; and the Christians say, “The Messiah is the son of Allah.” That is their statement from their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved [before them]. May Allah destroy them; how are they deluded?
