Here are few mor versions of Quran:

*Abu Bakr’s Quran:

According to Sunni scholars, parts of Quran were written on palm-leaf ,white thin stones ,skins, bones ,etc…. and they were owned by private indivituales.[ “The Biography of Abu Bakr As-Siddeeq”. Archive.org. Retrieved 2015-07-24. ] . There were several scribes[the numbers were different from 10(tabari 9:147-148) to 42- 43( al-Hâfidh al-‘Iraqî )]mainly Muhammad’s companions the people who not only writing Quran ,they were in charge of daily correspondence, and recording prophecies,etc..
There were many other people who were not scribes but were complete memorizers. After Muhammad’s death and the Battle of Yamama in 633 [ that many of Quran reciters were killed] specially death of Salim (the most significant person and one of the very few who had been entrusted by Muhammad to teach the Quran) upon Umar’s insistence, Abu Bakr ordered to collect scattered pieces of the Quran into one copy.Abu Bakr did not authorize anyone to record except what was already available on parchment. That is why he did not includ the final ayah of Surah Al-Baqara until he came upon it in written form, even though he and his fellow Companions could recall it perfectly well from memory. Abu Bakr’s version of Quran was written in the form of a sahifah [ Muhammad Mustafa Al-A’zami (2003), The History of The Qur’anic Text: From Revelation to Compilation: A Comparative Study with the Old and New Testaments, p.83. * Salim’s Quran :

It is reported from Ibn Buraidah : “The first of those to collect the Qur’an into a mushaf (codex) was Salim, the freed slave of Abu Hudhaifah”. (Al-Itqan fii Ulum al-Qur’an, p. 135 )[ الإتـقـان فـي علــوم القــرآن ص ۱۳۵ ].
Salim is one of the four men that Muhammad recommended learning the Qur’an from:
Narrated Masriq: Abdullah bin ‘Amr mentioned ‘Abdullah bin Masud and said, “I shall ever love that man, for I heard the Prophet saying, ‘Take (learn) the Qur’an from four: ‘Abdullah bin Masud, Salim, Mu’adh and Ubai bin Ka’b.’” (Sahih al-Bukhari, Volume 6, Book 61, Number 521)
Salim was one of the “reciters ” who was killed at the Battle of Yamama. Salim’s Quran went to Abu Bakr.

*Zayd Thabit’s Quran:

[ First Quran that became relatively obscure.(Abu Dawud “Kitab al Masahif” p. 13.)]
Zayd’s version recorded by al-Tabari shows that the Qur’an was written on pieces of parchment, bone tablets and leaf-stalks in the time of Abu Bakr and it was later in the time of ‘Umar that a complete copy was made. On the other hand, Zayd’s version while agreeing with the standard account it was written in the form of a sahifah in the time of Abu Bakr.[ some believe that this is the same HAFSA’s version of Quran].
Here is statement of Zayd Thabit when he was put in charge of collecting Quran “I started looking for the Qur’an and collecting it from (what was written on) palm-leaf stalks, thin white stones, and also from the men who knew it by heart, till I found the last verse of Surat at-Tauba (repentance) with Abi Khuzaima al-Ansari, and I did not find it with anybody other than him.”
This statement is the best proof that Qur’an in fact was not memorized in full by the companions, otherwise he did not need to look anywhere for pieces of Quran.
Surah al-Taubah was found with one person only
Zayd’s version recorded by al-Tabari shows that the two sets of missing verses ( those of Surah al-Tawbah and Surah al-Ahzab) [ apparently they were found in the time of ‘Uthman .].these verses were found with individual called “Abu Khuzaymah ibn Thabit”( بن ثابت ابوخزيمة )and were accepted without consulting the members of shura that were sellected for this [that made it questionable].
