The main source of sharia laws are Quran,Sunnah(Muhammad life style as perfect example that appears in Ahadith and Sira).
Quran as the main source of sharia contains several references to fate of “the people of Lut” (references 7:80–84 /11:77–83 /21:74 /22:43 /26:165–175/ 27:56–59, and 29:27–33), and their destruction by Allah is associated explicitly with their sexual practices. The sins of the people of Lut became proverbial, and the Arabic words for homosexual behaviour (liwāṭ) and for a person who performs such acts (lūṭi) both derive from his name.
The next source of laws that is Sunnah ( can be found in ahadith) contains many conflicting but clear ahadith that reflect real punishment of hemosexualities in Islam. since punishment already has been enforced by Allah over “Lut” tribe for homosexuality then Ahadith that contain death sentence are more credible and acceptable. The Sahaabah were unanimously agreed on the killing of homosexuals, but they differed as to how they were to be killed.
those who kill homosexuals rely on above mentioned Quranic verses and some Sahih ahadith, and documents like these:

THEN when you see the act of terror ,and slaughtering homosexuals that should not surprise you because it is justified bY Quranic verses and Sunnah.
