Muhammad married over 21 women(sex slaves are not included) , All of them for sex and only in one case (Khadijah) for money. By checking the age of Muhammad’s wives clearly see most of them were over 20 years younger than him,Then the myth that he married for political purpose is just a worthless claim.
Khadijah played very important role in spreading Islam , and we see that actually she was one of the main characters in creating Islam.
Khadijah or Khadīja bint Khuwaylid ( خديجة بنت خويلد‎) was very successful and wealthy business woman ,she learned the tricks of the trade from her father who was famous merchant [ Benedikt, Koehler (2014). Early Islam and the Birth of Capitalism. Lexington Books ].” She owned not less than 40,000 red camels, and she had a herdsman for each seven camels” It is even recorded that Khadija’s caravan was equal all the caravans from other merchants of the Quraysh put together.[ Muhammad ibn Saad, Tabaqat vol. 8. Translated by Bewley, A. (1995)./ The Women of Madina, p. 10. London: Ta-Ha Publishers. ] She was known by several name and best as ” Ameerat-Quraysh “(Princess of Quraysh) she married 3 time before Muhammad , had several children, and Muhammad was her 4th husband.Though historians tried hard to convince people that Khadijah believed in God yet The early sources state otherwise. She did not believe in God and kept in her house an idol of Al-Uzza, a virgin star-goddess who was the patroness of Mecca and was supposed to be powerful in war.Al-Uzza was one of the three daughters of the moon god, ( Who would later become allah) [Ahmed ibn Hanbal, Musnad vol. 4 p. 222. Cited in Margoliouth, D. S. (1905). Mohammed and the Rise of Islam, 3rd Ed., p. 70. London: G. P. Putnam’s Sons. ] .Here is this hadith that can shed some more light on this issue:
” From the Book “Musnad Ahmad” written by Imam Ahmad Ibn Hanbal
Narrated by Abdullah, narrated by his father, narrated by Abu Usama Hamad Ibn Usama, narrated by Hisham Ibn Urwah, narrated from his father who related that a neighbor of Khadija bint Khuwaylid heard the prophet says, “O Khadija! By Allah I do not worship Al-Lat nor Al-Uzza. By Allah I do not worship (them) at all.” Khadija replied, “Leave Al-Lat and leave Al-Uzza.”
He (the neighbor) said this was their idol which they used to worship after which they would lay down to sleep.”

and in the next statement we see clearly that Muhammad himself used to offer and sacrifice animals to al-‘Uzza and follow the old religion of his people, and he had no problem if Khadijah had an idol of Al-‘Uzzá in her house:
=() Hisham Ibn Al-Kalbi (737 AD – 819 AD/204 AH) also known as Ibn al-Kalbi ( ابن الكلبي‎)
The Book of Idols[ [ Kitab Al-Asnam ” كتاب الأصنام "]br> “We have been told that the Apostle of God once
mentioned al-Uzza saying, “I have offered a white sheep to al-‘Uzza, while I was a follower of the religion of my people.”
The Quraysh were wont to circumambulate the Ka’bah and say:
“By Allat and al-‘Uzza,
And Manah, the third idol besides.
Verily they are the most exalted females[ Ar[ Ar. ghardniq, lit. Numidian cranes, ] Whose intercession is to be sought[ Ta[ Tabari, vol.1, pp. 1192-1196. ]
[ ] =() In 605 when a sever flood damaged Ka’aba ,Muhammad did not have any objection when he reconstructed Ka’aba and rehoused “Black stone, and 360+ idols.
al-‘Uzza was the greatest idol among the Quraysh. They used to journey to her, offer gifts unto her, and seek her favours through sacrifice.
=() Ishaq:38 “Luhayy put Al-Uzza in a Nakhla Taghut. When they had finished their Ka’ba Hajj they circumambulated Al-Uzza. The Quraysh worshiped her. Manat was worshiped by the Aus and Khazraj in Yathrib.”
=() Ishaq:39 Those who prayed to Al-Uzza and Manat, “shaved their heads and completed all of the rites associated with the Hajj.”[as [as they still are doing the same]r> Khadijah send the words to Muhammad ( through Khazimah ibn Hakim ) that she will pay double her usual commission if Muhmmad willing to take her goods to “al-Sham “[ Sy[ Syria] trade on her behalf.[ Ib[ Ibn Sa’ad’s Kitab al-Tabaqat al-Kabir, p. 145–146. Delhi: Kitab Bhavan. ] She hired Muhammad With recommendation of Abu Talib (Muhammad’s uncle) even Abu Talib encouraged Muhammad for that trip[ Ib[ Ibn Sa’d ,al Tabaqat ,1:129-130/Abu Nu’aym Ahmad Ibn Abdillah al Asbahani,Dala il al-Nubuwah 1:172 ]r> In that trip Muhammad was accompanied with one of Khadijah’s most trusted slaves called” Maysarah” in order to assist him .Maysarah was ordered to dress Muhammad in fancy cloth and give him a decorated camel to ride,we see that he just accepted the speedy camel[for[for this service Maysarah was promissed his freedom] that trip apparently Muhammad doubled the profits that Khadijah expected ,that gave him more credibility. When they returned Maysarah told Khadijah some stories that were turning point in coming events.
Maysarah told her:” on the journey, they stopped near a monk’s house and Muhammad went under a tree to rest. A passing monk, Nestora told Maysarah that, “None but a prophet ever sat beneath this tree.”Then the monk asked Maysarah about Muhammad “Does he have red streaks in his eyes? “Maysarh’s respond was affirmative , then monk said”Remember ! he is a messenger the last messenger “[Al-[Al- Asbahani,Dala il al-Nubuwah 1:173 ]other monk , [Bah[Bahira]ed Muhammad that he want to join “ummah of Muhmmad”,and Muhammad granted his wish. This part of story is very interesting .Just look at the proof and reasoning that Monk produced : “Since Muhammad was sleeping under a tree(that apparently anybody had access to that tree in carvan stop station) then that makes him messenger of God !!” and another proof for this statement is that ” he has red streak in his eyes” and that makes him “not only messenger but last messenger “!!!! out of no where another monk asked him to join”ummah of Muhammad” ,what “ummah”? at that stage he was a regular merchant and there was no “ummah” !!! his name was not even Muhmmad at that time, his real name was “Kothan” ( Qutham or Qatham “قثم” ), (see RVC Bodley’s The Messenger, p. 6).[ [ "وفي حديث المبعث : أنت قثم ، أنت المقفى ، أنت الحاشر ، هذه أسماء النبي سيدنا رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم . ”
In the Hadith Mubhath – You are Qutham, You are Maqfah (sic), You are Hashir, these are names of the Prophet Peace Be Upon Him. ] h[ ]ary to the general belief, Muhammad is not a Muslim name,. rather, it is an Arab pagan name that was in use even before the birth of the founder of Islam. The name Muhammad means to be praised . It already existed before muhammad(Kothan ) was born and was a pagan name.
He was called Kothan until he started his self claimed prophecy about at the age of 40. His mentors , his wife khadijah and her Christian cousin Waraqah ( or VaraqaH) changed his name to Muhammad(something that was recommended by his grandfather).
Looks like that long before “Hira” cave event ,and the story of “Jibrael” everybody already had agreed and decided on Muhammad’s prophethood !! and all the steps were ready to be climbed !!!How reliable, solid and logical can be these stories and dreams ?Though they became the base for upcoming series of stories, dreams and events.
In order to cover his first story ,Maysarah also claimed that while Muhammad was sleeping he saw two angels were above Muhammad creating a cloud to protect him from the hot sun.[Guill[Guillaume (1955). The Life of Muhammad. Oxford. ] these 2 stories all of a sudden Khadijah also reported that she had seen those angels!!. For her to cover the two angels story Later on Khadijah claimed that she had a dream that sun[some [some historian mentioned Moon]escented from sky into her courtyard and “fully illuminating her home . She went to consult with ” Waraqah ibn Nawfal ibn Asad ibn ‘Abdu’l-‘Uzza ” who was blind and good in interpreting the dreams. .[ Guil[ Guillaume (1955). The Life of Muhammad. Oxford. ]ah told her that Muhammad was the prophet that people were waiting for and he would grace her home.[Ibn H[Ibn Hisham,al-Sirah 1:191-192]esting to know Who was this “Warqah” and what benefit he could get from this interpretation are something that is coming up. In a letter that she,Khadijah, send to wise monk Bahira and told him about her dream the monk responded: “the final prophet had arrived and would become her husband” .[ ]t[the time sequence of these dreams , stories and events are slightly might be different in some books]t this point Khadijah decided to marry Muhammad, then she send one of her trusted friends called “Nafisa” to talk to Muhammad .Nafisa approached Muhammad at the bazaar and asked why he had never married. He replied that he could not afford to support a family. “But if money were no obstacle,” Nafisa persisted, “would you be willing to marry a lady of wealth, rank and beauty?” Muhammad asked which lady of that description would be willing to take him, and Nafisa named Khadijah. Muhammad instantly expressed his willingness.[ Ibn [ Ibn Sa’d ( ابن سعد ), KITAB AL-TABAQAT AL-KABIR(كتاب الطبقات الكبير ) 1:35:1./1:131 ]h[ ]ooks like that “wealth, rank and beauty” immediately did the job !!!
Muhammad agreed and his uncles accompanied him to make a formal proposal to Khadija.Khadija’s uncle accepted , and the marriage took place. They stayed married for 25 yers till Khadijah passed away..[ “K[ "Khadija bint Khuwaylid at the Tree of Faith” ] There are few theories that why Khadijah married Muhmmad:
one of the motivation behind the marriage was that she had married twice and at 40’s she decided to marry young (25 year old)Muhammad that way she has security in old age, a common belief, practice and social norm among Arab (and many non Arab)tribes that even existed up to this day . plus Khadijah was a widowed and divorced Arab women ,she was free and did not need permission of a “Wali”( ولی )(legal guardian) to affect her decision [though [though for respect she chose her uncle Amr Ibn Asad as her "Wali” :Ibn Sa’d, al – Tabaqat 1:132] out three rugs covered with gold and silver, she had 1000 red camel standing ,and she took off her golden robe and silk as a gesture that everything belonged to Muhammad that way they do not say that she married a poor man .
Khadijah’s wealth partially was from her trades ,and partially from some of her family members who became christians and subsequently became christian monks , and they deposited their wealth with ” Khuwaylid ” who was the leader of the tribe. one of her family member who became christian was her cousin , Waraqah ibn Nawfal (the dream interpreter) who had become christian and scholar of christian and Jewish scriptures, and even it is said he knew Hebrew .Through him Muhammad got familiar with christian and Jewish scriptures, and Muhammad ows his prophethood partially to him.As we see one of the factors that guaranteed financal stability of Khadijah and those christian monks(that had deposited their wealth with Khadijah) was a stable social and finacial statues of Khadijah, and Muhammad as a younger husband and messenger of God could deliver that stability and asurance. Then that was the benefit of everybody that Muhammad marrys Khadijah and he moves up to divine position. We see clearly that everybody had his/her contribution to this prophethood hoax!!!
Many of these events and incidents derived from the Sirah ( السيرة ),Bal’ ami( بلعمی ),and al-yaqubi ( اليعقوبي )account.
All historins anounemosly agreed thatMuhammad had great amount of respect for Khadijah and he was faithful to her till the end of his lifeThere are few hadith that make us suspicious about that respect.
As we know Ayesha Muhammad ‘s child bride was his favorite wife, though when she and his other wives asked for some money Muhmmad was so sad that he did not accept anybody to visit him until Abu Bkr slapped her on the neck and that made Muhammad laugh ( no opposition for beating) .Here is the hadith:
=() Muslim Book of Divorce (Kitab Al-Talaq) #3506
Muslim 1478
Sahih Muslim Vol. 4, Book 9, Hadith 3506
“…. Abu Bakr (Allah be pleased with him) then got up went to ‘A’isha (Allah be pleased with her) and slapped her on the neck, and ‘Umar stood up before Hafsa and slapped her saying: You ask Allah’s Messenger (Peace be upon him) which he does not possess. …..”
“…… ‏ فَقَامَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ إِلَى عَائِشَةَ يَجَأُ عُنُقَهَا فَقَامَ عُمَرُ إِلَى حَفْصَةَ يَجَأُ عُنُقَهَا كِلاَهُمَا يَقُولُ تَسْأَلْنَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم مَا لَيْسَ عِنْدَهُ ….”
Then Ayesha got slap when she asked about extra money ,But she never recieved any kind of punishment from Muhammad or others when she talked this way about Khadijah, the most respected woman in Muhammad’s life , Here is the hadith :

Narrated Aisha: Once Hala bint Khuwaylid, Khadija’s sister, asked the permission of Prophet to enter. On that, the Prophet remembered the way Khadija used to ask permission, and that upset him. He said, “O Allah! Hala!” So I became jealous and said, “What makes you remember an old woman amongst the old women of Quraish an old woman (with a toothless mouth) of red gums who died long ago, and in whose place Allah has given you somebody better than her?”
